introduces the DSH 4000 Model DSH Tape & Reel
Handler. Designed for small DSH's packages of less than 1
mm the system used high accuracy linear motors closed
looped to glass scale encoders and pattern recognition
for high accuracy placement. Input to the system is DSH's
on film frames, lead frames, or waffle packs. Cassette
loading is an option. The DSH's are picked and placed
into an inspection carousel for top ball inspection and
bottom mark inspection. The DSH's are then picked,
flipped, and placed into Tape & Reel. An
inspection reject is placed into a matrix of waffle
packs. Industry ranges of tape widths, head seal,
pressure seal, and Surf tapes are supported. System
software is Windows 98™ GUI running on a 450 MHz
Intel Pentium III P/C with 4 GB, 64 MB RAM, CD ROM/W, 3.5
Floppy, Color monitor. Software includes operator and
maintenance screens for ease of operation. In addition to
the standard warranty of one year parts and labor,
Chipscale Robotics offers Golden Key warranty for 2 years
parts and labor as an option.
