DSH 5000 Die Sort Handler leads the industry in
production die sort equipment for accuracy and
flexibility. Input to the system can be film frames,
trays, or custom applications. The main pick & place
movement is a high speed closed loop linear servo motor.
The basic accuracy of the movement is +/- 0.5 mil with
the option of +/- 0.1 mil available. The output of the
system is configured to the customer's requirements.
Custom trays, waffle/GEL packs, manual load or multiple
cassette indexers, tape & reel indexers, flip chip,
film frames, test and inspection stations, and
combinations are all possible output modules available. Increase
throughput options include adding a dual pick & place
head to the single axis, and adding another axis in
parallel for a total of four heads. The system is
controlled with a 400 MHz Pentium P/C, Windows 98 GUI,
1.6 GB Hard Disk, 16 MB RAM, color monitor. Pattern
recognition allows for die alignment along with the
option of ink dot inspection and inspections of defects.
Bar code reading and OCR are available as options.
Software features include specific screens for operators,
set up, and maintenance. In addition to the standard
warranty of 1 year, parts and labor, Chipscale Robotics
offers Golden Key warranty for 2 years as an option.
